1. Candidates are allowed to make changes in one of their details: Father Name, Qualification, and Occupation OR Mother Name, Qualification, and Occupation.

2. The NTA also allowed students to make all the necessary changes to the options mentioned below-

• Your educational details for the 10^th and 12^th classes.
• Name of the State/UT, where a student studied 12th /Equivalent Passed/Appearing.
• The category of a student.
• Sub-category/PwD.
• Candidate’s Signature.
• Number of attempts in NEET (UG).

3. The NEET aspirants can make changes in their examination city and medium of examination. It is crucial to understand that changes should be based on Permanent and Current Addresses.

4. Candidates are allowed by the NTA to change their ID proof details. This facility is only allowed for those aspirants who registered with an identity other than an Aadhaar card.

Note: The NTA restricts changes in some crucial information of a candidate, such as the name of the candidate, date of birth, registered email ID, and mobile number. All of these are considered a candidate’s registration identity, so it is recommended to carefully fill these options while filling out the NEET 2026 application form.

Does NTA Charge an Extra Fee for Corrections in the NEET Application Form Window?
