JEE Main admit card for session 1 will be released soon on the official website. The admit card for the JEE Main exam is generally released 3 days before the exam. The JEE Main session 1 admit card is planned to be released in the third week of January 2026. Students are advised to download and check the information provided in the admit card as soon as it is released.

What is the JEE Main Session 1 Admit Card?

JEE Main admit card is the essential and mandatory document which students need to present at the exam center on the exam day. JEE Main session 1 admit card is the admit card released for the first session of the exam which is usually conducted in January of each year. Without a correct and factually accurate admit card, no students are allowed to give the JEE Main exam.

How to Download the JEE Main Admit Card?

It is important to have application ID and Date of Birth or Password ready beforehand, to download the admit card.

The steps to download the JEE Main Session 1 admit card are:

  • Step 1: Click on the link: JEE Main admit card download link or go to Go to jeemain.nta.nic.in,
  • Step 2: Click on ‘JEE(Main)-2026 Session-1 Admit Card’.
    Candidates will be then redirected to the login page.
  • Step 3: Click “Sign In” and enter application number and date of birth or password.
    The Candidate’s Home Page will be opened afterwards.
  • Step 4: Click on “Download Admit Card”.

Even though remembering JEE Main login credentials is very important but under some circumstances, if a candidate forgets their password or application number then they can recover them by following the given steps:

  • Step 1: Visit the official NTA website.
  • Step 2: Click on “Candidate Login,” and then select the “Forgot Password/Application Number”.
  • Step 3: Candidates then have to choose the recovery method (Security Question, SMS code, or Email link) to reset their password or retrieve their Application Number. They will have to use their registered details like Name, Father’s Name, DOB.
  • Step 4: Click on Submit along with solving Captcha. The application number or new password link will then be shared on the registered email address.

JEE Main Admit Card Correction

Candidates are advised to carry all important and essential documents before leaving their house for the JEE Main exam. These documents are essential for getting entry to the exam hall. JEE Main Exam Day Instructions Printed on Admit Card

  • Do not carry mobile phones, smart watches, calculators, earphones, or any electronic gadgets into the exam centre. Loose papers or unnecessary stationery are also not allowed.
  • Upload a recent, clear photograph during the application process. If the photo is unclear or not yours, you may not be allowed to enter the exam hall.
  • NTA strictly checks that no candidate appears more than once using multiple application forms.
  • Sit only on the seat allotted to you. Changing seats is not permitted.
  • Stay seated and maintain silence during the exam. Talking, looking at others’ screens, or helping anyone is strictly prohibited.
  • If you take a toilet or bio-break, you must go through frisking and biometric verification again before re-entering the hall.
  • Candidates returning from a bio-break will be checked again, even if they were already verified at the entry gate.
  • All exam-related documents such as the admit card, rank letter, and self-declaration form will be checked for authenticity. Any tampering or fake documents may lead to disqualification.
  • Cooperate with exam staff and do not create any disturbance during the examination.
  • For candidates with disabilities (PwD), the scribe can only mark answers chosen by the candidate and cannot solve questions. The scribe must have matriculation or higher qualification, but not higher than the exam’s minimum eligibility level.
