The NTA has released the application forms for the JEE Mains 2024 exam on November 1, 2023. The registration portal is now open for the students, and they can register for the JEE Main 2024 Session 1 exam. Notably, the NTA has announced the JEE Mains 2024 exam dates for sessions 1 and 2 so far.
Students who are planning to pursue their graduation in B.E./B.Tech., B.Arch., or B.Plan. courses can visit the official website of NTA here and fill out the application form.
JEE Main 2024 Session 1 Application and Registration Complete Stepwise Procedure
JEE Main 2024 exam registration forms for session 1 are open now. For the January session (session 1), candidates can apply from November 1 to November 30 on the official website of NTA-JEE Main 2024.
Please follow the steps below to apply for the JEE Main 2024 January session:
1. Registration & Application Form Filling
- Visit the official website of NTA-JEE Main 2024, find the “JEE Main 2024 registration” link, and click on it.
- Now, fill in the required details and hit the submit button, and your registration has been completed.
- You will be redirected to a detailed application form where you need to provide some information regarding your educational qualifications, your parents’ details, communication and permanent address, and exam center preferences.
2. Uploading of Documents and Fee Payment
- You will need some documents here: a scanned image of your recent photo and signature, class 10th and 12th mark sheets (12th grade board exam admit card if applying in case of appearing for the 12th grade exam), and a category certificate (SC/ST/OBC, PwD, or EWS if any of these are applicable).
- Upload the scanned images of your signature and a recently clicked passport-size photograph.
- Pay the application form fee, and after successful payment, the form will be submitted automatically.
- Don’t forget to download the application form and take a printout of it for further use.
JEE Main 2024 Application Form Fee & Form Correction Procedure
For JEE Main 2024, candidates belonging to different categories need to pay different amounts as fees. Here is the application form fee (category-wise) for JEE Main 2024 session 1:

Ques. How many attempts are there for the JEE Main exam?
Ans: You can take JEE Main for three years in a row, including one in 12th grade. Each year, there are two JEE Main sessions. So a maximum of six attempts are there in the JEE Main exam.
