NTA Exam Calendar 2024 for JEE Main, NEET UG and CUET

Recently,  the National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the NTA exam calendar 2024 for JEE Main, NEET UG and CUET. In this latest NTA official update, NTA announced the 2024 exam calendar for JEE Main for both sessions (January and April), the NTA exam calendar for NEET UG, and the entrance exam calendar for CUET (Common University Entrance Test) UG exam 2024. Related dates and tentative dates for counseling are also out.

NTA Exam Calendar For JEE Main 2024 | Tentative Dates

Just like the pattern followed since 2019, JEE Main will be conducted twice in 2024 too. As per the NTA official update, the exams for JEE Main 2024 first attempt will be conducted between 24th January and 1st February 2024.

NTA Exam Calendar For NEET UG 2024 | NEET UG 2024 Exam

NEET UG acts as an entrance exam for various medical undergraduate courses like – MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BNYS (Neuropathy and Yoga Sciences) and BSMS in AIIMS and different government and private medical institutes. However, there were rumours that NEET UG 2024 could be conducted by the National Medical Commission (NMC) only, but NTA is taking charge again.

NTA has scheduled the NEET UG 2024 exam on 5th May 2024 in both CBT and OMR formats.

Here are tentative dates related to the NEET UG 2024 exam:

Entrance Exam Calendar for CUET UG 2024 | CUET 2024 Dates

CUET, or Common University Entrance Test, is a national-level entrance exam for taking admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in central universities in India. As per the NTA exam calendar 2024, the CUET UG exam will be conducted between 15th May to 31st May 2024. 

For candidates aspiring for PG courses in central universities, NTA will conduct the CUET PG exam between 11th March and 28th March 2024. Besides these, the UGC NET exam will take place between the 10th and 21st of June 2024.

All the mentioned exams except for NEET UG will be conducted solely in online (CBT) mode. In the NEET UG 2024 exam, candidates will have a choice between an online exam and a pen and paper-based exam.

Ques. When will the application forms for the JEE Main January session be released?

 Ans: Applications for the JEE Main January session are expected to be released in the last week of December 2023.

Ques. Which exams will be conducted by NTA in 2024?

Ans: In 2024, NTA is going to conduct JEE Main (January and April sessions), NEET UG, CUET UG and PG, and UGC NET exams.

Ques. How many questions will be there in the CUET exam 2024?

Ans:  CUET has a total of 175 questions with a time duration of 2 hours. However, NTA may introduce some changes in the pattern of the exam.

Ans: No, the candidate must be of at least 17 years old on 31st December 2023 to be eligible for NEET UG 2024.
